This was the first thing I saw this morning: A gamelan interpretation of an old punk song.

I totally ripped this off from a post over at the Electrical Audio forums. I don't know how poster Auntie Ovipositor found this and, frankly, I don't need to know. It's just enjoyable. Enjoyable enough to watch this twice in a row.
Note for those unfamiliar with these instruments, they are gamelans.
Note for those unfamiliar with Gang of Four's oeuvre, the parts where the ladies go "AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!" is mimicking vocalist Jon King's occasional melodica blurts.
Later in the thread, EAF poster Sleepkid provided a rough translation of the spoken word intro:
"Next, we'd like to play a cover of an English band's song on the Gamelan. The band is called Gang of Four, they are still active, but their first album came out around 1980. From that album we covered the song "Not Great Men". The band is a regular band - regular meter, drums, vocals - type band." (I think she's trying to clarify that Gang of Four were not using Gamelans, and so this cover is an adaptation.)
