This week, I present you with a lesson in good versus bad, smart versus stupid, with it versus not, together versus out there.

Hey! My name is Xxxxx and I am looking for a drummer to play in a band I am currently trying to start up! OK, aside from your so far disturbing dependence on exclamation points, continue. We already have a vocalist, bassist(myself) and guitarist all ready and down to write some music and take being in a band full time and serious. We have some small requirements:
Good to decent to moderately not crappy equipment. Wait a minute. He didn't say "pro gear".
Have a respectable skill and experience, we have only a little bit as well! Wait a minute. He was just honest about his talent and experience.
The drive to actually work hard, put effort and strive to be a successful band.
Must be willing to put money into the band(merch, gas, recording, etc.)
Transportation to practice.
And basically just want an all around fun, cool guy to hang with!

If you feel as if you meet most of these, or even just one requirement, please email me ASAP!
Mucho Gracias.

And now, as promised, the opposite of what a reasonable, well thought out ad looks like.

He all, Somebody's drunk. And, according to the time stamp, drunk at ten thirty on a Sunday morning.

Looking to form an ensemble of unique musicians...

Now lets see I don't really know what I want to do... Then why are you wasting our time? Make up your mind before you post. I have been playing guitar for a long time (and classical piano for a while) so I'm musically inclined and am hoping to find good players who know their instruments and would be willing to work with someone who has never been in an 'ensemble' before... So you've never been in a band before is what you're saying. I guess Im wanting "I want", not "I am wanting". to experiment and want to be involved in something original and creativite...

Some of my visions include an Indian (both Indias) Whoa whoa whoa, what? Can we replay that last part? (both Indias) There are two Indias? That's news to me. folk band whatever that is? An african feel good band African feel good band? whatever that is? A reggae band? Mixing it with some spiritual mantra ragas/beats/ who knows, Nobody. Nobody knows what the fuck you're talking about. I love the idea of finding some new friends who can meet my soul in the creative processes harmoniously! You sound like a goddamned hippie.

Im very friendly guy, spiritually minded (open to all concepts of goodness and love)... And there you just confirmed it: You're a hippie.

Some instruments that sound cool... Indina drum I think the purja or something? There's this thing called "You are online right now, try looking it up if you don't know what it is." Further on that tip, I don't know if you're trying to be cutesy or if you're just naturally a space cadet, but your schtick where you end every other sentence with "or whatever", "or something", "who knows", etc makes you sound like an indecisive, immature flake. Flute, violin, piano, bells, spiritual beats, Spiritual beats? drums, whatever really... No, not "whatever really". What instruments do you want in this fucking band? hopefully a litle group of us can experiment with new and weird instruments...

Ok so really open to all ages, races, male/female, just friendly people who want try something creative and just have fun with music and sharing a positive vibe with the community...

Thank you

Xxxxxxx ~
